...visited King of Prussia Mall in PA today. Turned the corner and HOLY CRAP V60 WAGON! It was a T5 AWD (not R-design) I sat in it...played with the flappy paddles. It is nice...really nice. A little smaller on the inside than I expected but will do the trick. Would I give up a clutch pedal for it? Well...I actually need to drive it do see.

Also spotted this Tesla Model S. Wanted to visit the Tesla store, and talk with those folks for a bit, but didn't have time.

I've been driving an auto (with shift-it-yourself option) for like a month and a half, after 20 years of nothing but manuals. I have to say, I regret nothing. I mean, I still haven't sold the manual, but... I can't complain. Automatics have come a long way. Mine's a 6-speed, and I pretty much only use 2-5, it's there when I want it, and invisible when I don't.
I sound old, don't i?

Subies still come from the factory with TMIC's, right? If so I'm impressed on the lights and the pipes.

edit: The V60 is a damn good looking vehicle. I just have a hard time loving a Volvo that doesn't have the rear facing rear seats that I remember from my childhood. We never owned one, but my best friend's family did. We rode around in the back of that thing LIKE A BOSS.

Very cool, surprised you could get into it. Were there Volvo employees there to make sure you didn't take anything? Most mall cars are locked up, I like that strategy, I'd love to be able to sit in them and play around.

And very solid beard. I've been playing around with growing one but have a hard time getting past the "itchy" stage.

The sales manager from the nearby dealer was there... we traded business cards. He was a nice guy. I asked about the hi-po Polestar...he didn't know when that hits the lots.
